How to use a Downloader code

Install Downloader
On your Fire TV or Android TV, search for "Downloader" in the app store and install the free app by AFTVnews.

Allow unknown apps
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options and allow Downloader to install unknown apps (on Android TV: Settings → Apps → Security).

Type the code or link
Open Downloader, put the code from this page (or iptvwire.org/go/app-name) in the address box and press Go. The official download opens.
Before installing an app from outside the store, it is worth checking the APK signature.

What is a Downloader code?
A short number for the Downloader app on Fire TV and Android TV. Instead of typing a long web address with your remote, you type the number and Downloader opens the address it stands for. The codes are run by AFTVnews, the makers of Downloader.
Are Downloader codes safe?
A code is only as safe as the address behind it. Anyone can register a code, and many codes shared online lead to modified or unknown APK files. That is why we only list a code after checking that it leads to the app’s official download, and why our code checker shows you where any code really goes before you install anything.
Why does an app have a link instead of a code?
When no checked code exists yet, type the short link instead, for example iptvwire.org/go/kodi. It forwards to the official download page, works in Downloader and any browser, and never changes.
I can’t find my app. What now?
We only list apps with an official download source. If you got a code somewhere else, paste it into the code checker to see where it leads. If it is not the app maker’s own website, do not install it.
Do I need a Downloader code for apps in the Amazon Appstore?
No. Apps like VLC, Plex, NordVPN and Downloader itself are in the Amazon Appstore: search for them on your Fire TV and install them like any other app. Codes are only for apps that are not in the store.
